The Indigenous Peoples Luzon Cluster Convergence (IPLCC) Summit with the Theme: Katutubong Pilipino Katuwang sa Pagbabago” was held last July 4-6, 2018 at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) in Pasay City. It was participated by some Indigenous Peoples Mandatory Representatives (IPMRs), IP Leaders/Elders, representatives from the Local Government Units (LGUs), National Government Agencies (NGAs) and Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) from Regions I, II, III, IV, V and CAR. The said event’s aim was to enable all concerned LGUs, NGAs, and CSOs to fully appreciate the overall current situation of the Indigenous Peoples/Indigenous Cultural Communities (IPs/ICCs) through out the country¬† gathering collaborative responses and recommendations in improving the quality of life of the IPs/ICCs. Peace negotiations, development initiatives and provisions in the proposed federal constitution were among the agenda of the summit.
